I take great care in selecting materials that align with my values of sustainability, fair trade, and ethical business practices.

• Silver: I use silver clay, which is made entirely of recycled silver particles, to create a solid fine silver (999) pendant frame. By using recycled silver, I help to reduce the demand for newly mined silver, which is often associated with environmental degradation and poor labour conditions. This process supports a circular economy and ensures that no additional mining is required for my pieces.
  
  
• Gemstones: I carefully source gemstones from suppliers who prioritise ethical procurement, ensuring that the stones are mined under fair conditions. This includes fair prices for miners, responsible extraction practices, and a commitment to workers' welfare. Ethical sourcing helps to reduce the negative social and environmental impact of the gemstone industry while promoting transparency and sustainability.
  
  
• Thread: I use high-quality, responsibly sourced thread produced by a company committed to sustainability, fair labour conditions, and reducing environmental impact. The thread is made with strict quality controls and an eco-conscious approach, ensuring durability while supporting ethical production values.

To reduce my environmental footprint, I use sustainable packaging and shipping practices:

• Packaging: My jewellery is presented in organic cotton bags, and I use fully recycled boxes and envelopes for shipping.
  
  
• Shipping: I use Royal Mail for deliveries, a postal service that is actively working to reduce its carbon footprint.
